Porsche Philippines recently celebrated its 30th anniversary with a milestone that few automotive markets around the world can claim—a one-of-one Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS commissioned exclusively for the Philippine market.
The special vehicle was unveiled during Porsche Philippines’ anniversary celebration, marking three decades since the brand officially established its presence in the country through PGA Cars in 1996. While the event reflected on Porsche’s journey in the local market, the spotlight naturally fell on the unique anniversary model created in collaboration with Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, the German automaker’s personalization division.

Unlike limited-edition models that are produced in small numbers for multiple markets, this particular 911 Targa 4 GTS is a true one-off. It was built exclusively to commemorate Porsche Philippines’ 30-year milestone, making it the only example of its kind in the world.
The anniversary car features a bespoke Paint-to-Sample Pastelorange exterior, a color said to have been inspired by the hues of a Philippine sunrise. Inside, the cabin combines Porsche’s heritage-inspired Pasha upholstery pattern with orange contrast stitching and illuminated door sills bearing the inscription “Porsche Philippines 30 Years.” Every detail was carefully selected to distinguish the car from any other 911 currently on the road.

Beyond its exclusive appearance, the commemorative Targa also showcases Porsche’s latest engineering. It’s based on the new 911 Targa 4 GTS, which introduces the brand’s T-Hybrid performance system. The electrified powertrain combines a 3.6-liter flat-six engine with an electric exhaust turbocharger, producing 541 PS and 610 Nm of torque, while retaining the performance-focused character expected from the iconic 911.
The celebration also served as the Philippine debut of Porsche’s latest 911 Turbo S, giving guests a first look at the brand’s newest flagship performance model alongside the anniversary Targa.

Among those present during the event was Ramon S. Ang, Chairman and CEO of San Miguel Corporation, together with executives from Porsche Philippines and PGA Cars. The gathering brought together members of the local Porsche community, longtime customers, and industry guests to commemorate the brand’s three decades in the country.
While anniversaries often look back on a company’s history, the unveiling of a one-of-one 911 suggests that Porsche also sees the Philippines as an important market moving forward. Having Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur create a vehicle exclusively for the country is a distinction not many markets receive, making the commemorative Targa more than just a display piece—it also represents the relationship Porsche has built with Filipino enthusiasts over the past 30 years.
